Prince Félix Léopold Marie Guillaume, Prince of Luxembourg, Prince of Nassau and Bourbon-Parma, and Princess Claire have announced the birth of their third child.
According to a statement issued by the Marshal of the Grand Ducal Court, Princess Claire gave birth to a baby boy at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg on Sunday 7 January 2024. At the time of his birth, he weighed 3.220 kg and measured 50 cm.
The royal couple will name their newborn son Balthasar Felix Karl.
According to the Marshall of the Court, both Princess Claire and Prince Balthasar are "healthy and well".
Prince Balthasar has two older siblings, a sister, Princess Amalia Gabriela Maria Theresa, born on 15 June 2014, and a brother, Prince Liam Henri Hartmut, who was born at Beaulieu General Clinic in Geneva on 28 November 2016.
