On Friday 26 August 2022, on the occasion of the 9th edition of the BIRDPEX exhibition which takes place this year in Gmunden, Austria, POST Luxembourg announced that it is issuing a stamp as well as a postcard and a special postmark.
The BIRDPEX exhibition is dedicated to philatelic collectors looking for everything related to birds. From 26 to 28 August 2022, the POST Philately team is attending the BIRDPEX 9 exhibition in Austria where visitors can have collect cards and stamps specially designed for this occasion.
Designed by Mariepol Goetzinger, the special POST Luxembourg stamp is issued in the form of a “meng.post” stamp and features an Eagle Owl, voted bird of the year 2022 by natur&ëmwelt.
The stamp and the card dedicated to the BIRDPEX 9 exhibition are available on the POST stand at the exhibition as well as from Friday 26 August 2022 via the POST Philately online store - www.postphilately.lu and at the philatelic counter (13 rue Robert Stumper in Cloche d'Or).
