Orange Heat Warning Issued for Luxembourg on Thursday

Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued a nationwide orange weather warning in relation to high temperatures for Thursday 4 August 2022.

This is in addition to the yellow heat warning ("potential danger") currently in place across Luxembourg (until 20:00 on Wednesday 3 August 2022); maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 31°C and 34°C on Wednesday.

An orange heat warning ("danger") will be in place across the Grand Duchy on Thursday from 10:00 to 19:00.

Maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 32°C and 35°C on Thursday, with temperatures potentially exceeding 35°C and reaching up to 37°C in the Moselle Valley.
