On Saturday afternoon, several thousand people gathered in Place de Clairefontaine in Luxembourg-Ville to voice their opposition to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The protest, organised by local non-profit LUkraine asbl, brought together around 3,000 people in Luxembourg City's centre. Among them was LUkraine asbl President Nicolas Zharov and Luxembourg’s Honorary Consul to Ukraine, Claude Radoux, as well as Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich who delivered a message of peace.

Protesters wore the national colours of Ukraine (blue and yellow) and waved Ukrainian flags, carrying signs with slogans such as "Stop the war" and "No-fly zone for Ukraine".
