Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has upgraded its weather warning for strong winds for all of Luxembourg on Friday afternoon / evening from "orange" to "red".
A nationwide red warning for severe stormy weather will replace the current orange warning for strong winds on Friday 18 February 2022 from 15:00 to 19:00. Wind gusts are expected to reach speeds of between 100 and 120 km / h (even greater in some areas).
A yellow warning for strong wind will be in place across the country on Friday between 12:00 and 15:00 and again between 19:00 and 00:00. Wind gusts of between 65 and 85 km / h are foreseen during these times.
