On Monday 10 January 2022, the Grand Ducal Police reported that during the week from 3 to 9 January 2022, they undertook a total of around 70 checks with regard to the current COVID-19 legislation and related restrictions.
The main focus of the checks was on the application of the "CovidCheck" regulation in the hospitality and pub trade, as well as at events that were organised within the framework of this regulation.
The police discovered five violations of the sanitary regulations in the HORECA sector. In all cases, am official report was drawn up for the responsible authorities and a fine was levied to those who did not comply with the regulations.
