Shortly after 06:00 on Monday 10 January 2022, a filling station located in route du Vin in Schengen was robbed by two perpetrators.
The Grand Ducal Police reported that the two entered the sales area threatened the employees with a knife and stole the contents of the cash register, cigarettes and alcohol. The perpetrators were two young men of light skin colour who both wore black clothes.
The two perpetrators then fled in a blue / grey Dacia with French license plates across the French border, in the direction of Contz-les-Bains.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
An investigation has now been initiated.
