Tractor parade on Route d'Arlon;
On Sunday 26 December 2021, a parade of agricultural tractors was driven from Schouweiler passing a number of stops across the Grand Duchy, including hospitals and retirement homes; at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) in Strassen, hospital workers were presented with a gift basket.
The parade, organised by the young farmers association, was first held last year to acknowledge the work of, and thank, health-care workers throughout the Grand Duchy during the pandemic, in particular during the lockdown over Christmas last year. This year's event had an estimated 400 tractors participating at the height of the parade, around double the numbers involved last year, with some going as far north as Troisvierges.
Many farmers decorated their tractors with Christmas lights and other decorations.
