The Grand Ducal Police have estimated that around 500 people took part in protests against COVID-19 restrictions in Luxembourg City on Sunday 12 December 2021.

After Saturday's unrest, which saw police arrest nineteen individuals, this second day of protests was calmer. According to the police, who were well prepared ahead of the planned demonstrations, the protests "proceeded peacefully and without incident".

Participants departed their meeting point in Place de l'Europe (Luxembourg-Kirchberg) just after 15:00 and headed towards Glacis car park, keeping within the restricted protest zone. The protesters dispersed peacefully at around 17:00 on Sunday.

Boulevard John F. Kennedy and the Schuman Roundabout were temporarily closed to traffic.
