The Grand Ducal Police have announced that a man was stabbed in Pétange in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Shortly after 02:00 on Saturday, the emergency services received reports of a man with stab wounds. The injured man had already gone home after an altercation in a pub in Pétange.
The police found the alleged perpetrator in said pub. The latter confirmed the dispute and admitted to having stabbed the victim.
In the course of subsequent investigations, police found and confiscated the knife used.
The prosecution was notified and ordered the perpetrator's arrest. The individual was presented to an examining magistrate on Saturday.
