The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a physical altercation involving a knife broke out in Luxembourg-Gare on Tuesday evening.
At around 18:00 on Tuesday 7 September 2021, the police received reports of a fight in front of a restaurant on Rue de Strasbourg.
Police officers and the dog squad directly went to the scene and provided first aid to a man who had suffered a stab wound.
The police launched a search immediately and found one suspect who was carrying a baton as well as the alleged perpetrator and the crime weapon.
The prosecutor was informed and ordered the attacker to be arrested. The latter will be brought before the examining magistrate on Wednesday.
