The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a hot air balloon caught fire on Saturday evening.

The incident happened in Consdorf at around 20:20: the hot air balloon caught fire after landing and was reported to the rescue services. 

The three passengers were able to free themselves independently; however, 2 of the passengers received burns and one had to be taken to a hospital for further care by the air rescue helicopter.
