Savelborn traffic accident;

On Thursday 12 August 2021, a 41 year-old motorist lost her life in a road traffic accident on the CR358 near Savelborn, just north of Larochette.
The Grand Ducal Police received a report of a traffic accident on the road between Medernach and Savelborn shortly after 21:00 on Thursday evening.
Shortly before Savelborn, a vehicle coming from the direction of Medernach went off the road and crashed into a tree. The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 41 year-old woman from the east of the country was seriously injured in the accident and was declared dead at the scene of the accident by medical personnel.
The road was closed for several hours. The public prosecutor has ordered reports to be drawn up as part of an investigation into the cause of the accident.
