Luxembourg's Air Navigation Administration (ANA) has confirmed that the MeteoLux website is experiencing technical difficulties.
The issues began on Friday 23 July 2021. “For reasons beyond our control, the site is temporarily unavailable. The company that hosts our website is experiencing technical problems. The technical teams are working to resolve this situation as quickly as possible", explained Martina Reckwerth, Head of MeteoLux.
MeteoLux, the Meteorological Department of the ANA, provides, among other things, the services incumbent on national meteorology including the publication of meteorological warnings for the general public.
Despite the technical difficulties, MeteoLux weather warnings and forecasts remain accessible via the mobile application of the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium (available for iOS and Android), the Meteoalarm website, the "Bulletin" subscription (twice daily, available in French and German; request via email: info@meteo.public.lu) and via telephone (24 hours a day): 4798-27010.
