The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a labourer suffered a serious hand injury in a workplace accident in Hosingen in northern Luxembourg on Wednesday morning.
At 06:05 on Wednesday, a construction worker suffered serious injuries to one hand while working on a wood sawing machine at Z.A.E.R. - Op der Hei.
After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, the injured individual was taken to hospital.
An officer from the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (Inspection du Travail et des Mines - ITM) was sent to the scene of the accident. An occupational accident report was drawn up.
