Following the recent measures put in place by the Luxembourg government to curb the spread of coronavirus, several establishments and municipalities have further adapted their services.

POST Luxembourg

For its part, POST Luxembourg has implemented additional measures, in line with its "Pandemic Plan", which aim to protect the health of its employees and customers while ensuring the continuity of its main services. As such, the POST Luxembourg point of sale network remains open. However, the opening hours of Espace POST and Telecom shops will be harmonised from Wednesday 18 March 2020: from 09:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Saturday (with some exceptions).

If necessary, the post office opening hours will be adapted on a case-by-case basis. To ensure the proper functioning of the network as a whole, some smaller post offices will have to be closed temporarily. Clients will be referred to other nearby post offices. As of Tuesday 17 March 2020, the following post offices have been closed: Belair, Limpertsberg, Esch-Nord and Esch-Lallange. Opening hours will be updated on www.post.lu.

In order to limit unnecessary travel, POST has recalled that many of its services are available online or remotely, including mobile subscriptions (www.scoubido.lu), data consumption and the management of mobile options (www.mypost.lu), fixed telephone, internet and TV subscriptions (www.bamboo.lu) and the management of bank accounts and bank cards (www.eboo.lu or eboo app). Customers can also print stamps at home (www.mypost.lu) and send and pick up packages at a PackUp 24/24 station (www.mypost.lu).

In addition, the POST Luxembourg Contact Center is accessible in four languages via tel. (free): 8002-8004 (or +352-2424-8004 from abroad). Telecom advisers can be reached 24 hours a day.

eSanté

Similarly, the national healthy agency eSanté has decided to temporarily close its counter 12, located in the social insurance building at 125 Route d'Esch in Luxembourg City, to the general public from Tuesday 17 March 2020.

Helpdesk agents will remain available to provide information and assistance every day from 08:00 to 18:00 via tel.: 2712-501833 or via email: helpdesk@esante.lu

Nevertheless, anyone whose visit to the counter is absolutely essential for the processing of their request is asked to contact the above helpdesk in order to set up an appointment.

Luxembourg City

In addition to previous measures taken over the weekend and on Monday, the municipality of Luxembourg City has decided to close all playgrounds in the capital and the Infobus service in Place d'Armes until further notice. Changes to other public services are available online at pandemie.vdl.lu.

Mamer

Similarly, the College of Alderman of the municipality of Mamer today announced the closure of all its playgrounds and multisports grounds until further notice.
