The Luxembourg Police have launched a search for five people who reportedly jumped out of a lorry on the A6 and fled on foot towards Mamer.
Around 06:50 on Tuesday morning, the police received reports of an incident where several people jumped from a lorry in slow-moving traffic on the A6 motorway. The individuals then headed towards the Mamer exit.
Several police patrols immediately went on site and, in the meantime, have already caught three of the fugitives. It is assumed that there are two more people on the run. The motivation as well as the status of the apprehended persons is still under investigation.
The police has asked that anyone noticing suspicious persons in the area of Mamer call the emergency number 113 immediately.
