Four Luxembourg establishments today received the tourism label "Bed+Bike".

On Thursday 4 April 2019, Luxembourg Minister of Tourism Lex Delles awarded four accommodation infrastructures the official label "Bed+Bike". These establishments were the Péitche Lauer EcoLodge & Brasserie in Useldange, Hotel Heintz in Vianden, Hotel Wemperhardt in Wemperhardt and Hotel Carlton in Luxembourg City.

The establishments that carry the "Bed+Bike" label are those which have made special efforts to welcome cycle tourists, in particular by adapting their services and infrastructures to their specific needs. The label requires, among other things, that establishments provide visitors with secure premises for their bicycles and tools for making minor repairs to bicycles, that specific tourist information for cycle tourism is available on site and a balanced breakfast is offered.

The label was introduced in the Grand Duchy in 2011, in close collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and the Lëtzebuerger Vëlos-Initiative (LVI). 92 accommodation establishments in Luxembourg currently bear the  "Bed+Bike" label.
