On Wednesday 30 January 2019, at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg city centre, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke received in audience five new ambassadors for the delivery of their credentials.

The new ambassadors included:

 Her Excellency Mrs. Fazilet DAĞCI ÇIĞLIK, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey;
 
His Excellency Peter KORMÚTH, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic;
 
His Excellency Tamás Iván KOVÁCS, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary;
 
Her Excellency Ms. Teneng Mba JAITEH, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of The Gambia;
 
His Excellency Dilyor KHAKIMOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
