The new common premises of the Luxembourg Food Safety Division and the Administration of Veterinary Services will open this Wednesday 26 September 2018.
Following the adoption of Bill 6614, establishing a system of control and sanctions relating to foodstuffs, the physical regrouping of all the actors concerned was considered an advantage in terms of optimising collaboration. The goal is to achieve greater efficiency and transparency in food safety for both citizens and consumers as well as for businesses.
Present at the inauguration will be Minister of Health Lydia Mutsch, Minister of Agriculture, Viticulture and Consumer Protection Fernand Etgen, Director of Veterinary Services Administration (ASV) Felix Wildschütz and Head of Food Security Division Patrick Hau.
The premises are located at Edison Building, 7 Thomas Edison Street, L-1445 Strassen.
