On Thursday afternoon, the escaped prisoner from Schrassig prison was re-captured.

An attentive bus driver recognised the escapee on the Tarchamps-Luxemburg road, near Quatre-Vents, and informed the police. At around 16:00 a police patrol stopped the bus at the roundabout in Quatre-Vents and re-arrested the escaped prisoner who did not resist arrest.

The man, on the run since 14 November, had succeeded in escaping his guards during a hospital visit.
