On Friday the Luxembourg announced that the minimum wage would increase by 1.4% from 1 January 2017, to €xxxxxxxxxx per month.

With the cost of living index showing a continued steady rise, the automated salary indexation will be applied from 1 December 2016, meaning a rise of 2.5% in salaries.

In addition, pensions will rise by 0.9% from 1 January 2018.
