AMCHAM Announces Elections Event with Focus on Finance, Economy

The American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (AMCHAM) has announced that it is partnering up with Amazon in Luxembourg-Kirchberg for an elections-related event on Wednesday 20 September 2023, from 18:00 to 21:00.

This event will focus on finance and the economy ahead of Luxembourg's national (legislative) elections on Sunday 8 October 2023.

Confirmed guest speakers include Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Yuriko Backes (DP), CSV Secretary-General and MEP, Christophe Hansen, and Luxembourg's Minister for Energy and Spatial Planning, Claude Turmes (Greens). The speaker for the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP) is yet to be announced.

Registration starts at 18:00, with the event then taking place from 19:00 to 20:00 (followed by a networking cocktail).

The number of seats will be limited; an alternative venue may be provided depending on numbers.
