Luxembourg's Ministry of State and the Maison du Grand-Duc have confirmed that the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess, together with Prime Minister Luc Frieden and his wife, will attend the funeral of Pope Francis in Rome, Italy on Saturday 26 April 2025.
As a mark of respect, flags will be flown at half-mast at the Grand Ducal Palace and in front of the Ministry of State in Luxembourg-Ville on the day of the funeral.
