On Wednesday 19 February 2025, Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, visited Austin, Texas on the second leg of his working visit to the United States.
In Austin, Minister Bettel had a bilateral meeting with Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas. As reported by the Foreign Ministry, the meeting with Governor Abbott was an opportunity to discuss the potential for cooperation between Texas and Luxembourg and to review current political affairs.
Minister Bettel also visited the startup accelerator Capital Factory and the company Oracle.
