Luxembourg's Ministry of Finance has confirmed that Minister Gilles Roth will be visiting China from Saturday 4 to Tuesday 14 January 2025 as part of a financial mission with Luxembourg for Finance.
During his visit to Beijing from 5 to 8 January 2025, the Minister will have meetings with the Chinese Minister of Finance, Lan Fo’an, and the Governor of the People’s Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng. Discussions with leaders from the financial sector will also be on the agenda.
From 9 to 11 January 2025, Minister Roth will continue his working visit to Shanghai, where he will participate in a Luxembourg for Finance event and also meet with financial leaders, as well as to Hangzhou, where he will also discuss with representatives of the financial and economic sectors.
The mission will end from 12 to 14 January 2025 in Hong Kong. The Finance Minister will attend the Asian Financial Forum and hold other policy talks as well as interact with insurance industry leaders.
