Government Ministers to Miss Luxembourg Day at World Expo

At the meeting of the cabinet of the Luxembourg government on Friday 7 January 2022, it decided that no member of the government will travel to the United Arab Emirates to represent the Grand Duchy on 23 January 2022 on the occasion of Luxembourg day at the World Expo in Dubai.

This decision was taken in view of the evolution of the health situation in Luxembourg.

During the official ceremonies organised for this day on the Expo site and in the Luxembourg pavilion in compliance with health measures, the Luxembourg government will be represented by the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the United Arab Emirates who will cover all protocol aspects of the event.
