Details: On Thursday 26 May 2016, New Jersey native Charlie Puth will be unleashing vintage soul-pop on an Atelier audience with a show featuring debut album 'Nine Track Mind'.

Having started out as a songwriter, Charlie Puth figures among today's artists who have gained in popularity through posting to YouTube. In early 2015, Puth was signed to Atlantic with whom he released debut album 'Marvin Gaye', featuring guest vocals from Meghan Trainor, who herself previously made it big with the not dissimilar-sounding smash hit 'All About that Bass', which has now grossed over 1.3 billion views on YouTube.

It was in Wiz Khalifa collaboration 'See You Again', a heartfelt tribute to the late Furious 7 star Paul Walker, that Puth found his big break. He wrote and co-produced the song, contrasting Wiz Khalifa's self-written rap verses with an impressive vocal range conjuring up British hit Sam Smith and leading Entertainment Weekly to deem him "the next big thing in music". The single found itself at the number one spot on the Hot 100 chart for 12 non-consecutive weeks, becoming shortlisted for 'Song of the Year' at the BBC Music Awards and receiving three Grammy Award nominations.
