Details: Arizona-based heavy metal band Soulfly will be at Den Atelier on Tuesday 1 March 2016 with new album 'Archangel'.
Although the band has gone through multiple member changes since it was formed in 1997, the concept behind the project and its delivery has remained constant: brutal riffs, trippy esoteric summoning and diverse world music exploring war, violence, slavery, hatred and anger. The band's ten studio albums and 19 singles are testament to the music's capacity to uplift and mystify whilst exploring the extremes.
'Archangel' is Soulfly's tenth studio album and represents a collaboration between vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera and six-string shredder Marc Rizzo, with guest appearances from Nails frontman Todd Jones and King Parrot's vocalist Matt Young. The latter group will provide the supporting act for Soulfly's March performance at Den Atelier.
Doors will open at 20:00.
