Details: The v is organising an evening seminar on Thursday 19 June 2014 from 18:00 at the EY premises in Munsbach (3 rue Gabriel Lippmann, Parc d'Activité Syrdall 2), on the topic Bridging the Digital Divide.
The world is increasingly reliant on technology to deliver almost all aspects of our lives. We hear about internet of things, smart cities and digital businesses. What might once have been considered a digital divide is now being bridged due to the globalization enabled by technology and the younger generation is born to be digital. This seminar will outline global technology trends, its impact on businesses and lives. Speakers include: Nitin Dahad: He is UK Trade and Investment Sector Specialist in ICT Sector. He works with technology, media businesses & organizations to develop their markets globally. Over 28 years of his experience across Europe, USA, Asia and Latin America ranges from technology to marketing, entrepreneurship, innovation and his favorite subject, Silicon Valley. Nitin has various roles as an adviser or non-executive director, assisting start-ups and established organisations. Bharat Madan: He is a Manager - Cloud Advisory EY, Luxembourg. Bharat has worked with IT (Strategy & Business Development), Business Consulting, Innovation & Process Management groups by serving international clients under different profiles. He has gained a diversified experience which has equipped him to analyze implicit & explicit challenges in building new practices & managing global projects. Pascal Steichen: He is a Managing Director at "Security made in Lëtzebuerg" (SMILE) g.i.e. and Information Security Officer at the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade in Luxembourg.
