Details: Chronicle.lu is delighted to announce the launch of its Wine Club with an initial tasting after work on Tuesday 24 July from 18:00 at the Abbaye de Neumunster in Luxembourg-Grund. Orgainised in conjunction with LuxCaddy and the Abbaye de Neumunster, the event is being held in support of the Schengen Peace Foundation which organises the annual World Peace Forum. The South American Wine Tasting will see Dominicus Rohde lead us on a journey across the South American continent, stopping off to taste various wines from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay along the way and educating us in the process. Dominicus will not only present us with a selection of the best wines from the region (see list below), but he will also introduce us to the World Peace Forum, a charity over which he presides and which is based in Schengen. You will get the opportunity to order the wines that you taste – part of the profits will go towards the Schengen Peace Foundation and its World Peace Forum Education Programmes.
