Details:

Details: Many newly-arrived persons, accompanying spouses and family members do not enjoy the benefit of a relocation package and are left to find their own way regarding administrative procedures and settling in to their new life in the Grand Duchy.

International Communities of Luxembourg (ICL) is a new Luxembourgish association which aims to bring ex-patriates and local communities together. ICL is partnering with OLAI, the Luxembourg School of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy, with the support of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) to offer an orientation course specifically for those who have been in Luxembourg for 90 days or less.

Their course is free to attend but prior registration is required. There will be an hour break for lunch: snacks and sandwiches are available for purchase from the cafeteria.

The course is being run on 26 April 2014, 17 May 2014, 28 June, 13 September, 27 September, 18 October and 22 November.

See www.intcomlux.com  for details - there is already a wealth of information available both for those who are thinking of relocating and those who have just arrived and the website is constantly evolving.

Please bring a pen and notepad, good humour and an open mind.  Course handouts will be provided after the course via Dropbox.
