Details: The Irish group Beoga is performing a concert on Friday 17 May 2013 at 20:00 at Kinneksbond in Mamer.
Many have tried, but few Irish folk groups have succeeded: create a unique musical identity. Beoga musicians are among those exceptions. They have a modern and refreshing Irish folk genre, and called "New Wave Trad". This quintet brilliantly exploits the enormous potential and creativity of its Irish roots, adding to other styles of world music, and up to create connections with classical music and jazz. Irish folk music Beoga is simply "world music made in Ireland."
