The University of Luxembourg choir is performing a festive concert at the Protestant Church (Rue de la Congrégation) in Luxembourg-Ville on Tuesday 12 December 2023 at 20:00.
The Uni.lu Choir is presenting "A Celebration of Carols", a series of choral music concerts with harp on 8, 10 and 12 December 2023.
Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols for choir and harp is the feature piece of this programme, which will be complemented by a selection of classical and popular Christmas music and a solo by harpist Olja Kaiser.
At the end of the concert, the audience will be invited to sing with the choir to songs including "An der grousser hell'ger Nuecht", "Joy to the World", "Les anges dans nos campagnes" and "Stille Nacht".
Entry is free of charge and no reservation is required. Charity donations (for the ME/CFS Research Foundation) are welcome.
These 70-minute concerts will held at the following times and places:
- Friday 8 December @ 20:00 at St Peter & Paul Church, L-8079 Bertrange
- Sunday 10 December @ 17:00 at St Thérèse Church, 33 Rue de Gasperich, L-1617 Luxembourg-Gasperich
- Tuesday 12 December @ 20:00 at the Protestant Church, 5 Rue de la Congrégation, L-1352 Luxembourg-Ville
