The Centre Culturel Wormeldange (111 Rue Principale, Wormeldange) will host an International Folklore Day in Luxembourg on Saturday 30 September 2023 from 10:00 - 19:00.
Orgnaised by Art & Culture Hungarica, the aim of the event is to make known, present and present the cultural traditions of the diverse nationalities/nations living in Luxembourg and to strengthen the friendly relationship among each other and to the host country.
The packed programme includes performances by singers from Armenia, the Wormeldange orchestra, dances from Hungary (dance troupes from Belgium, Den Haag), dancers from Slovakia, dancers from Portugal, dancers from Luxembourg, dancers from Poland, musicians from Mexico and more...
A handicrafts and souvenirs fair will be open throughout the event, and children's entertainment is also being organised, including crafts, face painting, glitter tattoos, games and competitions.
