Details:

The municipality of Strassen is celebrating its 11th Stroossefestival on Saturday 9 September 2023 from 15:00 to midnight.

The concept was developed 20 years ago by a group of passionate fans of street performances. In 2001, on the initiative of Betty Welter-Gaul in collaboration with the culture commission of the municipality of Strassen, the idea of organising a street arts and music festival – a one of the first of its kind in Luxembourg – was born, with the first festival in 2002. The biennial (held every two years) festival offers an original, eclectic and quality programme that meets the tastes of all, young and old. Since its creation, the festival has offered a balanced mix of musicians and acrobats by expanding the “street festival” side.

Entrance is free, and the programme is a mix of music and street art, national and international artists, for all ages.
