The exhibition "The World of Dinosaurs" is set to take place at Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April 2023.
This exhibition is an opportunity for the whole family to find out more about and meet the Giants of the Mesozoic era. The exhibition contains 29 animated specimens, reacting with movements and sounds to the passage of visitors.
The exhibition depicts the life of dinosaurs on planet Earth with numerous "living" specimens, electronically animated and on a large scale, such as the Tyrannosaurus (5m high and 13m long), the Spinosaurus, the Pachyrhinosaurus, the Iguanodon or even the giants of the air, the Quetzalcoatlus, giving an overview of the living conditions, shapes and sizes of the extinct species that once dominated the world.
For each dinosaur exhibited, an educational panel is present to know its size, the time in which it lived, its diet... Visitors will find out that the Apatosaurus measuring 14m long was a fan of foliage while the Deinosuchus of 10 metres long and ancestor of the crocodile, he was a real carnivore, just like the Baryonyx.
The World of Dinosaurs will also introduce visitors to the Indominus Rex. This hybrid was created by mixing genes from several species of dinosaurs.
