On Wednesday 14 February 2024, the 8th edition of the “Deng Zukunft – Däi Wee” (your future – your path) info exchange took place, organised by Luxembourg's National Youth Service (Service National de la Jeunesse - SNJ) and the youth information centre Esch (Jugendinfopunkt Esch - JIP), in partnership with the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.
More than 1,700 visitors attended the Belval Plaza Shopping Center to obtain information from 53 exhibitors. Jobs, training, studies or voluntary service, the young people were able to discover the many opportunities available to them to plan their next step. Alongside the information stands, young people were able to participate in four workshops (styling, hairdressing, aesthetics and CV) in order to receive practical advice for their next job interview.
Christian Weis, Mayor of the city of Esch-sur-Alzette, affirmed the importance of developing activation offers for young people.
The exhibitors appreciated the diversity of profiles of young people who came to their stands for information and the precision of the questions that they had to be able to make informed choices.
