The Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg has announced a Japanese tea ceremony demonstration to take place on Saturday 13 December 2025 from 15:00 to 16:00 at the Judo Club Esch Hall (Centre Omnisport Henri Schmitz) in Esch-sur-Alzette.
Co-organised by Judo Club Esch, the event will feature Kazuko Ludet, an authentic tea master, who will explain and demonstrate the different stages and cultural background of the traditional “sado/茶道” ceremony.
According to the Embassy, participants will also have the opportunity to prepare and taste a small cup of Japanese tea themselves.
