On Sunday 12 October 2025, from 16:30 onwards, the LUGA Culture Hub in Luxembourg City will host the Poetry Slam de Luxe 2025.

Organised by the Pierre Werner Institute (IPW), the fifteenth edition of Poetry Slam de Luxe aims to demonstrate how language can move and inspire and will feature performances in German by Sebastian 23, award-winning spoken word artist, Jessy James from Eastern Belgium LaFleur, and the Austrian duo Tommy and Annika, the reigning German-language slam champions.

French-language performances will be presented by Kandid, winner of the 2025 French-speaking Swiss Slam Championships and, together with his Strasbourg teammates, laureate of the 2025 Grand Slammerstein in Mulhouse, along with Fann Attiki, slam poet and author of Cave 72, winner of the 2021 Voix d’Afriques Prize.

According to IPW, all participating artists share a common goal: to use their words to address the pressing issues of our time, such as climate justice, environmental protection and sustainability.

Entry to the event is free, but registration is required. Further details and registration information can be found at www.ipw.lu.

IPW noted that in the event of poor weather, the performance will take place at Neimënster in Luxembourg-Grund.
