The Luxembourg Urban Garden (LUGA) programme continues with three Summer Festival Days on Sunday 31 August, Sunday 7 September and Sunday 14 September 2025, in Luxembourg City.
Each date offers a unique program in a green, outdoor setting and is free to attend. The organisers describe the events as “the perfect chance to stretch out your summer and come together for fun, friendly events inspired by LUGA’s key themes”.
On Sunday 31 August from 12:00 to 18:00, the LUGA Lab Festival Day will take place at the LUGA Lab in the Parc Odendahl in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal. The event will feature workshops on Japanese botanical printing, plant-based printing and handcrafted dried flowers. There will also be a reading corner, puppet theatre and shows on the subjects of Melusina and waste reduction.

On Sunday 7 September from 12:00 to 18:00, the Science Hub Festival Day will take place at the LUGA Science Hub in the Parc Pétrusse in Luxembourg-Grund. The event will feature a plant and seed exchange and workshops on biodiversity, bees, stencil silkscreen printing, Japanese botanical printing and crocheting. There will also be a reading corner, puppet poetry and shows on the subjects of water, sustainable fashion and respecting the environment.

On Sunday 14 September 14 from 12:00 to 18:00, the Culture Hub Festival Day will take place at the LUGA Culture Hub in Kinnekswiss municipal park in Luxembourg-ville. The event will feature a circus school and workshops on bookmaking, crocheting, Japanese botanical printing, plant-based printing and wood crafting. There will also be an urban sound installation, musical siesta, puppet theatre, storytelling and an interactive theatre performance for young children.
