The Gräiwemacher PompjeeënAsblhas announced that it is organising the 41st annual Quetschefest on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2024 in the fire station in Grevenmacher (14 Schaffmill).
The quetsch is a locally-grown plum which is used for making tarts as well as being distilled to make brandy.

Followed by Musical animation with the Obermosel 6er Blech (Bohemian Polka) and orchestra Two Man Sound
The will be plenty of food and drink available, and also a bouncy castle for children.
The organisers are labelling this as a Green Event, and are organising bicycle racks, promoting bus transport (RGTR lines 311, 326, 331, 332, 341 and 342 at the stop "Enner der Brück" 300m from the venue), with further information at mobiliteit.lu; Also, parking is available at the 'Ecluse" under the bridge - they recommend carpooling.
