Classic Car Rally Held by the Moselle

Last Sunday 11 August 2024, the Lëtzebuerger Oldtimer Federatioun (LOF) held a classic car rally at the Schwebsange Marina on the banks of the Moselle.

The event was open to any vehicles constructed before 1993 and attracted a wide range of vehicles from small European to XXL American, in all states of repair or originality. The splendid weather ensured a high turnout as well as showing off the cars at their resplendent best.

The way the cars were grouped seemed quite random at times, which potentially made it less easy for visitors to home in on a particular period, style or manufacturer. On the other hand, in some cases there was an obvious theme, for example, British Sports Cars, or the “Golden Age of Cadillac Opulence”.
