LUkraine to Celebrate Independence Day with Auto Rally

LUkraine has announced it is celebrating Ukraine's Independence Day on Saturday 24 August 2024 at Parking Adenauer (Boulevard Konrad Adenauer, Luxembourg-Kirchberg) at 14:00, organising a car rally to commemorate 33 years of independence.

This date is a symbol of Ukraine's “strength and determination” – Lukraine encouraged participants to bring flags to attach to the cars and celebrate with their friends and families.

Despite Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine, the organisers noted they “stand united for victory and democracy”. Afterwards, at 17:00, LUkraine will invite participants to gather at the Rotondes (3 Place des Rotondes, Luxembourg-Bonnevoie) to have a drink and support one another.

A fundraiser is set to be announced in the framework of LUkraine’s #UkraineIsCalling campaign.
