As part of its Mix'City Month, the association Wecitizens has announced it is organising a lunch debate on Europe and its citizens on Monday 29 July 2024 from 12:00 to 14:00 at 3 Rue de Bonnevoie, in Luxembourg-Gare.
A discussion with MEPs, Marc Angel and Charles Goerens, as well as Anne Calteux, Representative of the European Commission in Luxembourg is scheduled for the occasion. The event is organised in partnership with the Representation of the European Commission and the Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Luxembourg.
Programme of the event
- Welcome speech by Caroline Reviriot, Director of programmes, Wecitizens asbl;
- the functioning of the European Commission in the light of the new European institutional cycle by Anne Calteux, Representative of the European Commission in Luxembourg;
- presentation of the Liaison Office of the European Parliament and introduction of MEPs Rabea Effelsberg, Community Manager at the Liaison Office of the European Parliament;
- discussions with MEPs Marc Angel (S&D) and Charles Goerens (RE).
