Luxembourg’s Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees has announced the event "Alles Normal - Lëtz Celebrate Inclusion", which will be held on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 July 2024 at the Forum Geesseknäppchen, in Luxembourg-Hollerich.

As part of the second national action plan 2019-2024 and to conclude the "Assises du Handicap"(conference on disability), this event offers a unique opportunity to take stock of the inclusion of people with disabilities in our society, to celebrate the progress made and to discuss the next steps towards an inclusive and accessible society.

The event is set to take place from 12:00 to 19:00 on Friday 12 July and from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday 13 July. The official opening will take place at 16:30 in the presence of Minister Max Hahn, Luxembourg’s Minister for Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees. Questions to the ministry can be addressed from 15:00 to 16:00 on Friday, in the presence of Minister Hahn.

The event is divided into three main themes. The „Infomaart” will be offering more than 40 exhibitors, including charities, organisations and administrations, the opportunity to present themselves, to inform about their services and offers, and to offer their products for sale. A stage in the room will be used for demonstrations, performances and presentations. The symposium „Wëssenswäert“ (good to know) includes lectures, courses, round tables and presentations providing examples of good practice and valuable information. Introductory courses in Braille, sign language and simplified/easy language will also be offered. There will be a live  broadcast offered on www.allesnormal.lu. Thirdly, in "Mat dobäi" (joining in), in cooperation with Back To Sport asbl, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee, Special Olympics and other partners, visitors can participate in sports and other activities to better understand the lives of people with disabilities, such as para-judo, para-tennis, boccia, dance workshops and more in the sports hall of the Lycée Michel Rodange, respectively in front of the Forum.

There will be an afterwork with DJ Dama on Friday 12 July from 17:00 to 19:00.  

A meet and greet with Paralympic and Special Olympics athletes will be available during both days
