A total of 120 wineries are coming together under one roof on the German Moselle for a tasting weekend of their fine wines over a weekend, less than an hour away from Luxembourg.
The "Mythos Mosel. Eine Riesling-Reise." (A Riesling Journey) is taking place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May 2024 at the Moselschloesschen Spa & Resort in Traben-Trarbach.
Among the participating wineries are Villa Huesgen and Louis Klein from Traben-Trarbach.
Launched in 2014 by the "Moseljünger", the wine tasting event on the German Moselle has become a popular meeting place for connoisseurs over the past ten years. Every year on the weekend after Pentecost, around 120 wineries present their fine wines at 30 host wineries. There are three approximately 20 km long sections of the Moselle, which alternate on a regular basis. This year it is the turn of the villages between Ürzig and Briedel.
The opening event on the Friday evening is the first highlight of the gourmet weekend. The culinary creations of various top chefs and exquisite wines served from 480 large bottles (magnum, double magnum or larger) await guests from 19:00. Anyone staying at the 4-star superior hotel on the evening of the opening or for the whole weekend can look forward to even more enjoyment.
Tickets for the opening event cost €199.00. Those who stay overnight at Moselschlösschen on the opening night can enjoy participation in the opening event, including food and drinks, and a rich breakfast buffet the next morning (from €335 per person in a double room). A complete pampering weekend with two overnight stays, a 3-course dinner on Saturday evening, and the full spa experience is bookable from €550 per person in a double room.
Tickets are already available in combination with a room reservation at the Spa & Resort. Official ticket sales via the organiser will begin on 1 March 2024 from 12:00 online at tickets.mythos-mosel.de.
