The Luxembourg Davis Cup team beat hosts New Zealand 3-2 on Sunday 15 September 2024.
After leading 2-0 on the first day (Saturday 14 September 2024), the Luxembourg Tennis Federation (FLT) players prevailed in their World Group II match against New Zealand in Palmerston North on Sunday.
In doubles, Raphael Calzi and Gilles Kremer lost 3-6, 2-6 to Finn Reynolds and Ajeet Rai, while Chris Rodesch lost 5-7, 4-6 in the first singles match on Sunday against Jack Loutit. In the decisive match, Luxembourg's Alex Knaff won 6-3, 6-2 against Rubin Statham.
As a result, Luxembourg has qualified for the play-offs of World Group I for 2025.
