The Luxembourg Tennis Federation (FLT) has confirmed the team members who will represent Luxembourg in the upcoming Davis Cup.
On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September 2024, the Luxembourg Davis Cup team will compete against hosts, New Zealand, in Palmerston North in the World Group II.
Captain Gilles Muller has nominated the following players for the encounter: Chris Rodesch; Alex Knaff; Aaron Gil Garcia; Raphael Calzi; Gilles Kremer.
The team thus remains unchanged from the one sent to Colombia (World Group I play-offs) in February 2024.
The team will be accompanied by physiotherapist Benjamin Chassin and Mike Welter from the FLT Board of Directors.
The FLT noted that the players already flew to Hong Kong at the end of August to prepare for the encounter in New Zealand.
The matches will be played indoors at the Fly Palmy Arena in Palmerston North. The winner of the encounter will qualify for the World Group I play-offs in 2025. The matches will start at 12:00 local time (02:00 Luxembourg time).
