Kleos Space S.A., a space-powered Radio Frequency Reconnaissance data provider, welcomed the US Ambassador to Luxembourg, Randy Evans, yesterday for a working meeting in its headquarters in Luxembourg city.

Ambassador Evans said “A pleasure meeting with Kleos Space CEO, Andy Bowyer, and learning more about his thriving Space company and their progress in the US”.

Ambassador Evans recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the US and Luxembourg governments on space on the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations and his first anniversary as ambassador in Luxembourg.

Kleos’ CEO Andy Bowyer said “The meeting and tour of Kleos facilities with Ambassador Evans shows the interest that the US has into the Luxembourg new space industry and the ongoing efforts of their Government to support the overall sector. It was a pleasure to update the Ambassador on our Space enabled geolocation service and our commercial success with US companies and government organisations”.

Kleos Space exhibited at GEOINT 2019 in San Antonio, Texas in early June 2019. USGIF’s GEOINT 2019 is the premier annual event for professionals engaged in every facet of the GEOINT Community from government and military to industry and academia.

During the working meeting, Ambassador Evans and Andy Bowyer discussed Kleos Space business approach to the US, where Kleos already works in close partnership with L3 Harris Technologies, a global aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions and addressing customers’ critical challenges across air, land, sea, space and cyber domains.

Kleos’ CEO Andy Bowyer said “As a responsible and highly focussed Space business, Kleos Space is continuously looking for service providers around the world and particularly also for American providers which show a long track record”.

In order to better understand the market’s needs, Kleos Space appointed Karyn Hayes Ryan as its US Strategy Advisor earlier this year. Karyn is a former Intelligence Community and Dept of Defense Senior Executive with an extensive history in the defense, aerospace and IT industry.
